About the 1789 Mentors Program

Under the auspices of the Carolina College Advising Program, the 1789 Mentors Program aims to aid in university retention efforts by supporting incoming first-year students as they transition to Carolina. With the generous support of the UNC System Office, the 1789 Mentors Program consists of College Advising Corps Alumni who serve as near-peer advisors, bringing with them a wealth of counseling and mentoring experience.
